Facts about Panglao Island
Panglao Island is located southwest of Bohol and east of Cebu Island. As one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines, Panglao Island is famous for its world class diving, snorkeling adequate opportunities, lush coral reefs and fine sandy beaches invite you for sunbathing.

Facts about Alona Beach
Alona Beach is the best known and probably the most beautiful tourist beach in Bohol. In fact, it’s on the outlying island of Panglao connected by two bridges with the main island of Bohol.
From Tagbilaran City to Alona Beach, south of the island it’s around 17 km.
Panglao has several small villages and a total of approximately 22,000 inhabitants.

The 1500 m long Alona Beach in the southern part of the clear, turquoise water and excellent dive sites is the best known and most developed tourist beach on the island. It is lined with palm
trees and you can choose whether you want to relax in the sun, or rather in the shade.
On the beach there are beach resorts, dive shops, beach bars and restaurants serving Asian and European dishes and all the many small shops that are the colorful image of a tropical resort to it. Night owls also can get their money (Nightlife is also provided !).

Meanwhile, there is also a bank branch (BPI) with an ATM. International credit and debit cards are accepted without problems.
